ROOMS 3D Desktops

Do you like extreme sport? As for me, I like BMX, but I would never try something related to the extreme in my PC. Now I now, that a lot of people are fond of getting adrenaline from what they are doing with their OS.
Rooms 3D Desktops - this program gave me so much adrenaline, that I would never forget it. All the time I’ve been using it I thought that I’m sleeping. My Desktop wasn’t, as usual, a board with icons. It was a maze with beautiful halls, lounges, corridors and so on. While walking these 3D ways, I was thinking, what would I do if this program won’t let me go back to the previous state of my Desktop. Such “safety thoughts” are normal for the one, who is using Rooms 3D Desktop for the first time. Then you just get used to it, and pay no attention to returning your OS in its normal interface. It happens so, because you understand, that 3D interface of the Desktop, designed as the building with its floors, doors, stairs and so on is better than usual one. The program itself is just an original dream of a talented developer, and it came true in a perfect way. I found this program a bit complicated, but the way out is to read the tutorials.

ROOMS 3d desktops give you wallpapers to walk into and 3d icons to move among. You organize your desktop as a virtual reality world (just like a 3d game).
ROOMS is fast and flexible. FreeWare ROOMS has no timeout and lets you download new worlds from the ROOMS Web site. You can drag and drop new icons into the world from explorer to mimic any folder, including the desktop. ROOMS icons are like Windows shortcuts, and can also stand for internet addresses.
We publish CoolWare addons at regular intervals, which deliver new worlds, new textures and new objects to help both FreeWare and PayWare users get the most out of ROOMS 3d desktops.
Keyboard mouse and joystick are fully configurable. You can add dynamic lighting and fog, control gravity and animate textures through sampling. Add new rooms through walls, ceilings and floors.
If you are a programmer you create your own addons. We provide a free addon SDK for C programmers.
You can also make screensavers and 3D presentations (an alternative to PowerPoint[tm]) of your worlds.
